During exploration of exotic species in Aurangabad, Odontonema cuspidatum (Nees) Kuntze. Was found to be frequently occurring. This species has not been reported earlier from Maharashtra (Almeida, 2003; Singh et al 2001.) and therefore, it is a new exotic addition to Maharashtra. The present paper deals with update citation, detail description, flowering and fruiting season, locality and field photograph of the species.
