Present study deals with five taxa which are found to be new records for the Jalgaon district. These taxa are Hybanthus enneaspermus (L.) F.V. Muell. (Violaceaea), Melhania futteyporensis Munro ex Mast. (Sterculiaceae), Oxalis deharadunensis Raiz. (Oxalidaceae), Leucas clarkei Hook.f. (Lamiaceae) and Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms.(Pontederiaceae). The paper provides a short description with updated citation, phenology, locality and distribution for each species.
