Abstract

Gloriosa superba Linn. (Glory lily) is a medicinal plant belonging to the family Liliaceae. The phytochemicals present in it leads to its use as analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antithrombotic, anticoagulant, enzyme inhibitory, anti-venom and chemotherapeutic potential.
