Abstract

The survey of Gorakhpur and adjacent regions revealed that the medicinal flora comprised 30 trees, 15 herbs and 10 climbers. The tribals and local people use these plants for curing various diseases viz rheumatism, fever, dysentery, jaundice, epilepsy, paralapsy, skin diseases and stomach disorder, etc.
