The effect of sources and levels of sulphur application in onion on its growth, yield and quality was studied. Considering the overall effects of sources and levels of sulphur on growth, yield and quality of onion cv. N 2-4-1, it was concluded that application of gypsum was superior over elemental sulphur. Among the levels of sulphur, the application of 45 kg S/ha was found beneficial for increasing the yield of onion.
