Abstract

Present investigation was carried out with two spacings (30 x10 and 30 x20 cm) and four fertilizer doses (20:40:60, 30:40:60, 40:40:60 NPK kg ha−1 and Bio-fertilizer as seed treatment) with pea (Pisum sativum L.) cv. Phule Priya. Days to 50% flowering, pod length, number of grains pod−1 and pod yield plant−1 were significantly influenced due to spacing distance. The green pod yield ha−1 was higher with closer spacing of 30 x10 cm. All growth, flowering, yield and yield contributing character were influenced by different fertilizer doses. The highest pod yield was obtained due to the application of 40:40:60 NPK kg ha−1.
