The results of field experiments conducted during the years 2008–09 and 2009–10 revealed that integrated nutrient management (INM) treatments significantly improved bio-mass production, cob length, weight of grains per cob, weight of 1000 grains and grain yield over control. The treatment comprising of NPK(50% RDF) + 10 t FYM ha−1 + application of Azotobactor enhanced grain yield over NPK (50% RDF) + 10 t FYM ha−1. The results obtained indicated additive role of Azotobactor.
