Abstract

The overall least squares means obtained for daily milk yield per day of lactation length (DMY/LL), daily milk yield per day of calving interval (DMY/CI), milk production efficiency per kg body weight at first calving (MPEK) and milk production efficiency per kg body weight and per day of first laction length (MPKED) in Phule Triveni synthetic cows were 9.23 ± 0.07kg/day, 7.71± 0.13 kg/day, 6.69 ± 0.29 kg and 20.16 ± 0.86 gm, respectively. The period of calving had significant effect on production efficiency. The season of calving and generation had non-significant effect on all milk production. The lactation order had significant effect on DMY/LL and DMY/CI.
