Abstract

The Rangpur lime seedling was budded with Nagpur mandarin in the month of January. Lime seedlings were sprayed with GA3, 6-BA and urea and their combinations at monthly interval after 45 days of transplanting. Growth parameter such as seedling height, stem girth, number of leaves, leaf area, number of side shoot removed, absolute growth rate (AGR), root density, length of primary root, number of secondary root, number of fibrous roots, chlorophyll content of Rangpur lime seedling were significantly influenced by GA3 (50 ppm) with urea (1.0%). Whereas, bud take percent and final survival of buddings were found significantly superior under GA3 50 ppm with urea 1.0% as compared to other treatments.
