Abstract

Average feed conversion efficiency of the birds at 6 weeks of age significantly (P≤0.05) depressed in groups fed with 7.5% dried Azolla. The cumulative feed efficiency was found higher at the age of fifth week than sixth week in all the groups. It was inferred that dietary inclusion of dried Azolla had no economic benefits in Japanese quails, but the same at 2.5% level can be adopted in case of scarcity of other feed resources.
