Abstract

Application of micronutrients resulted in better flowering, fruit set, yield and quality of sapota fruits. The combination of FeSO4 1%, ZnSO4 1% and borax 0.5% induced early flowering, average number of flowers, mature fruits/twig and yield (kg/tree). Also increment in fruit quality parameters in terms of TSS (26.80%), total sugar (16.90%), reducing sugars (10.47), and ascorbic acid (3.67 mg/100gm pulp) with lower acidity (0.26%) was observed as compared to other treatments and control.
