Abstract

An egg removal device (Indian Patent No. 198434) tested for the control of insect pests attacking stored cocoa beans was found effective resulting in significantly lower offspring production in the treatment compared to control. Compared to control there was less number of offspring adults in all the treatments and Among the treatments, 5 days treated samples had reduced number of adult offsprings (71.53%).
