Abstract

Foliar spray of gibberellic acid -GA3 (150 and 200 ppm) resulted in increased fruit length, number of fruits per plant, flesh thickness associated with, low fruit cavity and less number of seeds per fruit. Spray of NAA was found to be effective in increasing number of fruits per plant and yield. Fruit weight was greatly influenced due to the spraying of 150 and 200 ppm2, 3, 5 tri ido benzoic acid (TIBA).
