Abstract

Red chilli prices in Khammam and Warangal markets of Andhra Pradesh were examined by SARIMA model, by using 137 months period from April 2002 to September 2013.. The SARIMA (1,1,1) (1,1,1)12 was selected as the most suitable model to forecast red chilli prices. With the help of this model forecast for 7 months, i.e. from October 2013 to April 2014 was worked out.
