Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during rainy season of 2011 to evaluate the effect of propaquizafopalone and its application with other herbicides on crop growth, yield and yield attributes in soybean. Weed free condition showed increased growth parameters, yield attributes, seed and stover yield of soybean. Among herbicidal treatments, plots treated with sequential application of metribuzin @ 250 g/ha followed by (fb) propaquizafop @ 50 g/ha at 3 weeks after sowing (WAS) gave better performance of crop plant which was at par with sequential application of pendimethalin@ 250 g/ha fb propaquizafop @ 50 g/ha at 3 WAS.
