The investigation was undertaken during Spring -Summer 2009 for evaluation of F4 generation for Transgressive Segregation of important quantitative traits in two crosses, M-3-1 x 18-1-1 (C1) and M-3-1 x H-36 (C2) and their parents. Desirable transgressive segregants were observed for all eleven characters. Highest transgressive segregants were observed for average equatorial diameter (15.56%), followed by fruit yield per plant (11.50%) and average fruit weight (11.50%) in M-3-1 x 18-1-1 (C1), whereas for fruit yield per plant (12.68%) and average equatorial diameter (6.88%) in M-3-1 x H-36 (C2) of F4 generation
