Abstract

The birds receiving herbal drug (Acombination of Withania somnifera, Asparagus racemosus, and Mucuna pruriens in the form of whole plant, root and seed in 50:25:25 proportions respectively) had significantly higher body weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio, perfomance efficiency, dressing percentage with less mortality. Carcass attributes (live, dressed and eviscerated weights) were significantly higher due to herbal drug and market drug. Aforementioned trial was carried out in summer season.
