The relative heterosis for grain yield varied from -33.59 (IBET IE 1554-5 × UMI 61) to 21.34 (IBET IE 1051-5×UMI 61) percent. The heterobeltiosis for gain yield was between -40.01 (IBET IE 1554-5 × UMI 61) to 13.38 (IBET IE 1256-6 × UMI 61) percent and standard heterosis for grain yield recorded was from -38.53 (IBET IE 1554-5 × UMI 61) to 12.89 (IBET IE 1256-6 × UMI 61) percent. Among the hybrids, IBET IE 1256-6 × UMI 61 and Hy R`06 6143–16 × COH(M) 5 high magnitude standard heterosis for plant height, cob weight, cob length, number of kernels per row, 100 kernel weight, harvest index and single plant yield.
