Abstract

During kharif season, the growth attributes of pigeonpea viz., plant height (cm), number of branches per plant, number of compound leaves, leaf area per plant, seed and stalk yield significantly increased due to the application of organic matter. Application of FYM @ 2.5 t ha−1 + vermicompost @ 1 t ha−1 + two times jeevamrut @ 500 lit. ha−1 (30 and 45 DAS) was predominant on control.
