Abstract

Two microbial antagonists viz. Trichoderma harzianum and T. viride were evaluated against the Colletotrichum dematium var. truncata by dual culture technique. T. harzianum showed highest (44.61%) inhibition in radial growth of the pathogen. The neem cake amended soil extract was effective in inhibiting mycelial dry weight of the test pathogen, followed by Cow urine, tea waste, sugarcane bagasse and fresh cow dung.
