Abstract

Genetic studies were undertaken on progenies developed in F2 generation of an intervarietal cross made between powdery mildew resistant (BPMR 156) and susceptible (SML-668) parents of green gram using North Carolina Mating Design-I (NCD-1). Significant differences among females in males for all traits indicated that females had substantial contribution in variation among progenies as compared to males. Partial dominance was observed for plant height, number of pods per plant and yield per plant.
