During floristic investigations of Marathwada region, some plants were collected for the first time from Aurangabad, Jalna and Nanded Districts of Marathwada region Maharashtra state. Those were identified as Crotalaria filipes Benrh. var. trichophora (Benth. ex. Baker) Cooke, C. medicaginea var. luxuriens (Benth.) Baker, C. pallida Ait. var. palllida, Eragrostis riparia (Willd.) Nees and Hippobroma longiflora (L.) G. Don and were new reports to the flora of Marathwada.
