Abstract

Minimum post-harvest losses were recorded with the application of 50%FYM (12.50t ha−1) + 50%VC (2t ha−1) + biofertilizers (Azospirillum and phosphate solubalizing bacteria @ 5 kg ha−1 each) followed by application of vermicompost-4 t ha−1. The quality parameters of stored bulbs like, TSS (13.09 and 12.25%), dry matter (13.40 and 12.94%), sulphur (0.621 and 0.589%), and marketable bulbs (58.23 and 45.41%) at the end of storage period were also higher in these two treatments, as compared to rest ofthe treatments.
