Response of summer rice (Oryza sativa L.) to plant geometry and age of seedlings under SRI method

Plant height at harvest, test weight, grain and straw yield, were found significantly superior in plant geometry P₁ (10 x 10 cm), while, yield attributing characters viz., total effective tillers hill⁻¹, panicle length and number of grains panicle⁻¹ were higher under treatment P₂ (20 x 20 cm).
