In 0.50% EMS and 20 Gy gamma treated mutant populations of Ethyl Cav Cole variety of Gladiolus, spike length had significant positive association with weight of the corm, corm diameter, plant height, leaves per plant, rachis length, florets per spike and floret diameter. However, days to spike iniation, days to first floret to colour development and days to full emergence of spike recorded significant negative association with spike length. These characters can be utilized as selection indices for high yielding genotypes.
