Abstract

Five species of Trichoderma (T. harzianum, T. viride, T. pseudokoningii, T. virens and T. koningii) were tested against the Fusarium oxysporium causing wilt of Dianthus chinensis. All species of Trichoderma showed antagonistic potential. Trichoderma harzianum showed highest (78.88%) antagonistic potential while T. pseudokoningii lowest (64.44%) against the pathogen. Remaining Trichoderma spp. showed above 70% antagonistic potential.
