Abstract

The safflower genotype, GMU-4854 recorded tolerant reaction to major constraints [aphid (Uroleucon compositae), Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria carthami) and wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. carthamt)], whereas the genotype GMU-4547 was found moderately tolerant and tolerant against aphid and Alternaria leaf spot, respectively. However, three genotypes viz., GMU-4814, GMU-4842 and GMU-4955 showed tolerant reaction to Alternaria leaf spot and Fusarium wilt.
