Abstract

Total 266 fungal species were recorded on 125 flowering plants which included 175 species of Deuteromycetes, 28 Basidiomycetes and 63 Ascomycetes. Out of them 16 species of Deuteromycetes and 10 of Ascomycetes were found to be new to India. Total 31 species were reported as new to Maharashtra State.
