Fern novelties from Sahyadri-Maharashtra

During the studies on Fern diversity from Maharashtra three species Cyclosorus papilio (Hope.) Ching, Metathelypteris gracilescens (BI.) Ching and Thelypteris interrupta (Willd.) Iwats, have been reported from various localities of Sahyadri (Maharashtra). Metathelypteris gracilescens (BI.) Ching and Thelypteris interrupta (Willd.) Iwats. are rare and represented from single localities, i.e. Panhala and Nigwe respectively. Cyclosorus papilio (Hope.) Ching is rather cosmopolitan in distribution.
