Soil nutrient index and micronutrient status in sugarcane growing soils of Ambajogai in Maharashtra

Abstract

Present investigation was undertaken during 2012 to study the status of micronutrients (DTPA-Fe, Zn, Mn, and Cu and available B) in sugarcane growing soils of Ambajogai tahsil during the year 2012–13. The DTPA-Fe in soil after sugarcane harvest varied from 0.19 to 10.46 mg kg−1 and DTPA-Zn varied from 0.10 to 2.94 mg kg−1 DTPA-Mn from 1.09 to 13.07 mg kg−1. The DTPA-Cu varied from 1.74 to 7.86 mg kg−1 all samples was high in Cu.
