Abstract

Maximum plant height was observed in germplasm 2012/TODVAR-01; while minimum days to 50% flowering were recorded in germplasm EC-620533 (45.20 days). Per cent fruit set was maximum in 2012/TODVAR-02 (55.24%). Maximum fruit yield per plant was observed in germplasm 2011/TODVAR-01 (2600.29g). The TSS of fruit varied from 2.46°B (EC-620533) to 6.16°B (2012/TODVAR-04), whileascorbic acid content from 17.67mg (EC-620533) to 43.04mg (2012/TODVAR-04).
