Effect of storage period and soaking of bulbs in GA₃ on growth and flowering of tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa L.) cv. double

One month's storage period after uplifting of bulbs and soaking them in 200 ppm GA₃ before planting, significantly improved growth parameters (days to sprouting, sprouting percentage and plant height), spike characters (days to spike emergence, days to first spike harvested and length of spike), and floral traits (number offlorets per spike and diameter offloret) over control.
