Aapplication of MgSO4@ 3 g/plant to the soil was found to be the most effective treatment for increasing plant height (83.07cm) and shoot length (57.93cm), while MgSO4 1.0% foliar spray was effective in increasing stem girth (6.08mm), bud diameter (4. 76cm) and flower diameter (8.31 cm). The number of shoots per plant (18), number offlowers per plant (18.07), number of flowers per sq.m (74.07) and number offlowers per hectare (7.40 lakh) were highest with the treatment FeSO4 3.0 g/plant.
