Abstract

The values of growth attributes viz., plant height (88.40 cm), dry matter per plant (16.82 g), number of tillers (121.66), length of panicle, number of spikelets panicle1, number of grains panicle1, grain weight planr1 and thousand grain weight were maximum and statistically higher due to application of 120: 60: 40 kg NPK + 10 t FYM ha1. Among integrated nitrogen management treatments, the application of 75% RON through fertilizers + 25% RON through vermicompost showed its superiority over rest of the treatments. Whereas, lowest growth and yield attributes were observed with application of 50% RON through fertilizers + 50% RON through FYM. Maximum grain (46.29 q ha−1) and straw (61.37 q ha−1) yield were obtained with the application of 120: 60: 40 kg NPK + 10t FYM ha−1.
