Abstract

Guar crop sown on 1st February recorded maximum number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, grain yield and test weight. Variety GG-1 produced significantly taller plants and bolder seeds than GG-2. On the other hand, GG-2 produced more number of branches, pods per plant and grain yield as compared to GG-1. The plant height, number of branches per plant, number of seeds per pod length of pod, test weight and grain yield did not differ significantly due to spacings. However, wider spacing of 60 cm recorded higher number of pods per plant as compared to narrow spacing of 45 cm.
