Six isolates of AM fungi (MKL BPR, KKT, GDL, BJP & PLM) from different Castor rhizosphere soils were, maintained as pure cultures. Among these MKL, BPR, GDL and BJP showed best growth with maximum colonization (85%)., Kranthi variety of castor showed best results. The findings established the potential of AM fungi for increasing biomass of castor.
