Abstract

The growth stage at 45 days after 50% flowering was found better for maximum°brix and total sugar contents. The genotypes RSSV 167 and RSSV 192 were promising cultivars. The cane and juice yield decreased up to 40–50% when the crop was grown grown in winter as compared to kharif season.
