Abstract

Genetic variability was estimated in 30 soybean strains grown during kharif, 2011. Most of the characters possessed sufficient genetic variability. Pods per plant exhibited highest genetic variability, followed by plant height, seed yield per plant, secondary branches per plant, test weight, seeds per pod. Pods per plant also expressed highest heritability and genetic advance.
