Efficient regeneration of Decapitated mature embryonic axes of pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan (L) Millsp.) was obtained on MS medium supplemented with 3.0 mg/l BAP. The elongated shoots were subsequently rooted on MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mgtl IBA and later transferred to the greenhouse.
