Extensive survey was carried out to collect and record macrofungi producing fleshy fruiting bodies by repeated visit to the forests at Nanded, Parbhani, Beed, Aurangabad and other parts of Marathwada. During this survey 30 fleshy fu ngi were collected and identified. Among them, four to ascomycoti na while twenty six were from basidiomycotina group, dominated by Agaricales in various parts of Marathwada during rainy season.
