Abstract

Mound layering was practiced on guava cv. L-49 (cv. Sardar) atfortnight interval commencing from 1 sl June 2013 to 16th September, 2013. Minimum number of days to sprouting (7.90), maximum rooting percentage (90.73%), number of primary roots (15.72), number of secondary roots (30.82), number of leaves at 45 days after transfer in polyethylene bags (8.94), survival percentage at 60 days after transfer in polyethylene bag (88.40) were recorded in mound layered guava plants when layering was practiced on 16th July, 2013 (T4).
