Screening and characterization of exopolysaccharide (eps) producing bacteriaisolated from root nodules of soybean (glycine max).

Thirty bacterial strains were isolated from root nodules of soybean, out of which the strain YC96 showed good exopolysaccharide production (680μg/ml). The strain has been identified as Rhizobium radiobacter, using API Vitek2 fully automated system.
