Trichoderma harzianum was the most promising antagonist against Pyricularia grisea among different fungal species tested, followed by Trichoderma viride and Gliocladium virens. In vitro evaluation of plant extracts (10%) revealed that the bulb extracts of garlic (Allium sativum) and leaf extract of neem (Azadirachta indica) were most effective in inhibiting the growth of the test fungus followed by ginger and onion.
