A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2012–13 to study the effect of 3 plant spacings (60×45 cm, 55×35 cm and 50×25 cm) and 3 sulphur levels (20, 30, and 40 kg S ha−1) on performance of sunflower (Helianthus annus L.). The result indicated that the highest yield (13.8 qt ha−1), oil content (40.58%), stover yield (28.8 qt ha−1) were obtained when the crop was sown at 60×45 cm spacing along with the application of 40 kg S ha−1.
