Pigeon pea germplasms/genotypes were evaluated to identify the sources of resistance to Fusarium wilt and Sterility mosaic disease. Screening was done at the wilt sick plot and SMD sick plot at RARS, Warangal, Telangana State, India. The experimental material consisted 78 AICRP Pigeon pea entries with a check and thirty Warangal Pigeon pea (AVT and PVT), which were screened against wilt disease during Kharif-2014 at RARS, Warangal. Total 42 AICRP Pigeon pea entries including a check and thirty Warangal Pigeon pea (AVT and PVT) entries were tested against Sterility mosaic disease. Out of 78 entries, only three entries ICPL-87119, IPA-8F and BSMR-2 were resistant to wilt disease. Out of 42 entries, nine entries (viz., IPA-8F, IPA-15F, KPL-43, BSMR-846, IPA-204, ICPL-2376, WRG-256, BAHAR and ICP-9174) were found to be resistant to sterility mosaic disease.
