Abstract

Morphological variability in 28 isolates of A. flavus showed significant variation. The Dendrogram showed two major clusters. Cluster A consisted 18, while cluster B 10 isolates and showed similarity/dissimilarity in morphological characters viz., conidial colour, conidial wall, conidial size, conidial shape, sclerotial shape, sclerotial size, sclerotial colour, growth pattern, isolate group, yellow orange pigmentation and aflatoxin synthesis ability.
