The study investigated the effect of intercropping sorghum and Dolichos, under different planting methods, on growth as well as green fodder and dry matter yields. The intercropping significantly increased height and number of leaves of Dolichos, while dry matter content of both crops. Intercropping, however, did not showed yield benefit over sole cropping of both crops, when evaluated by calculating land equivalent ratio (LER).
