Abstract

Present paper describes Plumeria pudica Jacq, an ornamental plant of family Apocynaceae as a new record from Chandrapur and an addition to the exotic plants of Vidharbha region of Maharashtra State. Updated nomenclature, nativity, description and phenology of above taxon is being provided along with its medicinal potential.
