Two field experiments were conducted to study the effect of irrigation scheduling, seed rate and phosphorus on growth and productivity of short duration vegetable grain chickpea (Cicer arietinum) i.e. Hara chholia. The genotype ICCV 96030 produced significantly higher grain yield than genotype ICCV 96029. Two and three irrigations produced higher number of filled pods/plant and vegetable grain yield. Furthermore, three levels of seed rate (40, 50 and 60 kg/ha) and three levels of phosphorus (20, 25 and 30 kg P2 O5/ha) did not significantly influenced vegetable grain yield.
