Abstract

Application of 5 gm rhizome powder of Acoruscalamus (Vasa bach vekhand) per Kg of seeds of chickpea was found most effective and recorded highest (93.33 per cent) mortality of pulse beetle (Callosobruchus chinensis L.). However, the treatment with the leaf powders of Azadirachta indica, Annona Squamosa, Lantana camara, Pongamia pinnata were found to be the next effective treatments which were at par with Acorus calamus rhizome powder.
